A homage to the vernacular roof, we placed an “Ace” framed upper floor & roof atop the rectangular plan show room. Large openings logically face the street while side facades are wrapped by metal roofing/ cladding. The gabled frontage has a wraparound timber strip roof eaves that further frame the simple textured wall. Bold angular lines, dark external palette, stark contrast = our vision of providing a framed stage to showcase the client’s business face.
